It’s quite nice feeling like I have a job with set hours. I’ve been starting  mural work at 8.30am and finishing around 12.30am. If I can’t paint any quicker I might have to add  5-7pm as well. I want it finished by the end of July as I have 16 small local scenes to paint in August. At least that’s  the plan.

Today I spent ages working on a tiled roof . I always think there must be an easier way of painting roofs ,but it was right in the foreground and I wanted it to look relatively real.

Tomorrow I am taking some new small brushes. I think that will help.

It was quite hot on the way home , but I had a bottle of water in my hand and walked in the shadows.

It was lovely to stretch out on my sunlounger with the latest ” Gamache” book for a few hours when I got home….until I was bored. So bored that I brushed the floor. I was feeling a bit messy and untidy….

Now I’m back in the warmer part of my house.

It looks like there is some wind now as the net curtain is blowing in my  doorway.

I think I might look out some more reference photos to use tomorrow, later on tonight.

But for now it’s wine time.
