A good night’s sleep is wonderful. Not waking up until morning, instead of 11pm, 1am, 3am and 5am is blissful.
Today was a day of doing little bits and pieces.
I rebooked my flight back from Scotland in February , plus the train and the bus to the airport on the way there. I’ve been using an app called OMIO to book trains and buses. It has been very straightforward and saves hunting for timetables etc.
Then I transferred all the ” important” info from this year’s diary to a new pretty embossed pink one for 2023. I also wrote my flight details in my new posh work diary which Katy bought me. It has so many extra pages and helpful charts. I usually buy diaries from the pound shop . I’ ll think of her every time I write something in it. My work diary ( not my painting work diary) is full of scored out things and notes and book titles , asterisks, shopping lists , to do lists, bills paid and much more.
In fact, before I forget I took note of the fact that Basilicata is in Vogue magazine as one of 12 great places to visit in 2023. The editor said that it’s an emerging region to watch . There is a demand for holidays in more sparsely populated and remote areas.
After that I sewed another couple of patches on my jeans. I couldn’t be bothered to take them off ,but managed quite well.

There was time to fit in some reading and am nearly at the end of the 18th Gamache book . I wonder if there will be any more.
As it was a lovely day again I went for a walk to the supermarket and took a new route.

Not finished with the little jobs , I painted 2 little white flowers on the floor in the shower room as I had spilled hairdye on them.

Then Fluffy jumped up and looked in the window to let me know she’d like something to eat and some attention.

And then there was this sky and a weird moon which looked like 2 crescents, but doesn’t show in the photo.

Finally it’s wine time.
Cheers 🍷🍷
