I’m a bit surprised, but today I spent an hour peering at a street map on my tablet and have now named all the streets in my street scenes. ( except  one , because I can’t remember where it was.  I also remember passing it a second time and there was scaffolding all round it so it probably looks quite different  now.)

Then I spent another hour and a half writing the street names underneath the paintings.

And that is more or less it done.

Apart from capital  letters….I might go back and add them.

I think it’s the same feeling I have when a tree takes half an hour to draw, a portrait is finished in 4 hours and I think they should have taken much longer.

The next step is to upload it………

This morning I went to the Meetmarket and bought a nice big bag for my portrait.

I still haven’t managed to deliver it. It’s complicated.

Another 10 canvases arrived today. I’m now well supplied with canvases. I unwrapped a black one and put it on my easel. No inspiration has struck me yet. I have 8 black canvases so I would like to do a series of something……

Fluffy has been in and out a lot.

My tree drawing has been more or less approved and the gas man brought more gas. And now I’ve run out of things to do.

Luckily it’s wine time.
