This is the first of my 3 days of contemplation.

I went to bed last night, after watching an episode of “Midsomer Murders” which was new to me. What a treat!

At that time I had decided to leave my book in the past. To be happy that I wrote a lot of words and I have an actual physical book to show for all my work.

This morning I thought I might just edit the first chapter myself and see if I liked it better after that.

That didn’t go too well.

Around 11am I wondered if other people hated their books and asked Google.

I found this quote.

“The more I reread my book the more I cringe”.

It seems I’m not alone. There were a lot more comments of a similar nature.

At this point I thought that I’d contemplated enough for today.

So I watched videos on painting bronze trees. ( or at least how to paint things to look bronze.)

Then my bronze paint arrived.

Now I’ve made a chart of different shades of bronze so feel prepared for starting work on Monday.

After that it was time for a siesta. I have been having some very vivid dreams recently and today was no different.

Outside it was windy and sunny.

I’m drinking my favourite wine tonight.

And I found another episode of ” Midsomer Murders”.
