This morning I was again in the piazza.

I’ve enjoyed waiting there every morning while I’ve been mural painting. There is always something going on. The church is almost finished being fixed , the fruit and veg man always has customers, there are always cars coming and going and if it’s momentarily quiet I can always study the buildings which I’ve painted lots of times and never the same twice.
So in the country after painting another five magnolia flowers as well as lots of leaves and touching up bits and pieces I was finished.

Only I wasn’t quite finished after all , as this is not really my image. I’m just the painter.

It’s been a nice sunny afternoon and I spent some of it working on the current portrait. I had to paint a stripey dress and medals. Not on the same body. That was a bit of a challenge, but with the help of an Agatha Raisin audiobook it was a pleasant way to spend the time. I made use of my heated shawl thingy.
It’s now that time of year when it’s warmer outside than inside. But I can’t paint outside. It’s not practical.
Tomorrow I should go and buy wood for stretchers for my next 2 commissions.
It’s been a busy week.
Wine time now….big smile…..cheers 🍷🍷
