It’s  been foggy, rainy and generally  horrible weather today.

Packing for me doesn’t involve clothes as I have 3 drawers of necessary things in my daughter’s  house.

It’s more about charging my tablet, kindle and phone. Organising 2 weeks supply of vitamin etc pills.

Remembering to pack the pocket coffees for Katy.

Finding my airport story book so that I can maybe write something fun  while I’m hanging about waiting.

Making sure I have money for emergencies,  sweets for take off, nasal spray for preventing everything, a couple of masks incase I sit near someone who coughs, anti sick patches, pens, hankies etc etc.

I’m so prepared this time that I’ve already made biscuits with cheese and salami and put them in the fridge. Must remember water for on the bus.

I tried on my travelling outfit, which includes my newly decorated jumper and pink socks. It looks okay.

My bus tickets are printed and I’m checked in on my phone. I also have my Italian ID card and my special  form from the comune.

So hopefully if I forget anything else it won’t matter.

I’ve tidied up and put some left over food in the freezer.

I even washed the watering can.

Finally I updated my work diary.

Now I want a glass of wine and to watch some mild crime series on YouTube.
