This morning I was wondering if I’m fulfilling my plans for being in Verona. Then I watched an accidental video which popped up on YouTube  and felt much better.

The gist of it was, to expect less. I can do that.

So I went off for a coffee and chatted to the Barista without expecting much. It then started to rain so I headed for the bookshop bar where I wanted to buy a children’s  book because I loved the illustration. 

Wow!! Very loud thunder outside.

I think I heard some new people going upstairs where there is another rental apartment.

This morning I met two of my permanent neighbours.

I’m getting familiar with the area. I like that.

Anyways, back to this morning. It stopped raining when I came out of the bookshop. I came home via the little street which I’m going to paint and discovered just out of sight there is a lovely little piazza.

I spent some time drawing this with a pen.

As it wasn’t raining I went to  the supermarket, so now I have all the food I need for a week.

When I got back it began to rain again and now there’s thunder. Good decision to go out earlier.

I might look for a nice old black and white film tonight. It’s  supposed to rain tomorrow  again and then next week looks better.

Wine time now. ( accompanied by loud thunderstorm. )
