I should be going there in just over a week. It is just a little village in Basilicata, but it’s special to me.

I went there the first time because I wanted to see what it felt like to stay in a tiny Italian village . It was supposed to have a population of 400 .

I was made to feel so welcome by the Airbnb hosts that I went back again. Then I went back and had an exhibition of paintings there.

And now this will be my 4th time.

I was thinking of taking some of the paintings I had left over from the exhibition with me.

I’m  looking forward to painting some more scenes from this visit. But it will also be lovely to see some of the people I met. The kind Airbnb hosts are actually collecting me from Pisticci.

This week I have quite a lot of work. I’d like to finish the big painting, the portrait of child and dog and visit someone in Marconia to see about another job.
