2026 in Pisticci…fixing portraits…..

I woke up feeling a bit wrong after two weird dreams. I’m quite proud of the way my ” unconscious ” works things out through dreams, but this was a bit worrying. No idea what it meant. Am curious……

I can’t  quite believe how happy my round table makes me. It takes me back to Verona and buying it was the best thing I did. As a reboot, going to Verona was a great success.

Now every time I sit at my round table I have a little bit of Verona in Pisticci.

My favourite space.

I went out this afternoon to go to the farmacia. I needed extra pills for when I’m  in Scotland as I’m not sure how long I’ll be there.

And of course I bought more ice lollies in the supermarket. 

Most of today however I was at home fiddling with paintings.

I finished the portrait with the cat.

Could do to improve my finger painting, but otherwise is not bad. The cat was really easy and fun to paint.

Then I thought that I’d try to fix the previous  portrait .

Went through several stages. I lightened her face, changed the background and the colour of her dress.

I think I like it better now.

Gosh, it’s  nearly7.30pm.

My  new traveller’s pen arrived today. It’s  very pretty and writes well.

It’s nicer than I thought it would be.

Wine time now and some YouTube vlogs maybe..
