It’s  been a strange day.

I got up about 5.30am and did two loads of washing.

Sat outside for a while. Then had breakfast and watched a video on pocket notebooks.

After that….nothing!

Mostly I read and slept. It was very nice as I’m  not normally good at relaxing.

Was contemplating  going out about 5pm just to have something to say, but I got a phone call from some people who wanted to come round to discuss a commission.

So now I have several pieces of work to start when I get back from Scotland.

It seems that I was right when I said that tomorrow and Saturday  will be the hottest days this summer.

I’ve found another photo which I’d like to paint so tomorrow my plan is to go to the big supermarket at 8am and then keep cool inside and paint for the rest of the day.

A post without photos would not seem right ……
