It’s been another horrible damp foggy day.

But I think I’m slowly getting better at keeping warm.

There are advantages to using the portable gas heater . Such as it can move. My foot is on it right now.

I think the house is gradually heating up after being empty for 3 weeks.

I tried painting with my jacket on this morning ,but it definitely doesn’t work. So my heated shawl thing has been a really good buy.

Today I finished drawing a ship and parrot on a lampshade, finished the background of a portrait and painted 3 tiny heads and then most of the rest of the painting. Tiny heads are not easy.

Tomorrow I’d better begin painting on the washboard.

The weather is to brighten up a bit I think. I’ve become a bit dependent on blue skies.

Feeling more cheerful tonight.
