It was nice to get up and put the washing machine on. The forecast was for sunshine and wind.

I’m very aware of free “stuff” such as wind to dry clothes and sunshine to to charge up my solar lights.

I’ve been needing to get out of the house for fresh air and just to see people in passing.

Today I took a walk up town and enjoyed the Christmas music in the piazza .

I have a nice video featuring music in the piazza ,but I don’t know how to add it.

On the way home I stopped to admire the big mural I helped to paint.

I didn’t do much for the rest of the day. It’s been good to not rush back to working. I have 5 more local scenes left to paint so I’m all set for this week unless I get any more commissions. I brought my work diary up to date. That was fun.

The stoveman with 2 names should be coming back to take my stove to bits tomorrow, but I’m managing fine with the gas fire at minimum so far. I like that I can move it around.

A friend dropped off several litres of ” glugg” ( mulled wine) . Its very nice. Perfect to heat me up and cheer me up at the same time.

It’s dark now and I’m considering whether to light candles. If I do ,then my solar lights turn themselves off. But candles are friendly ……
