After breakfast and coffee outside this morning I set to work to cheer up and improve one of my paintings.

I worked on it off and on all day. As usual it took much longer than I thought it would and I changed a lot of things as well as adding to it. Fluffy was the last thing to be painted.

I don’t think it’s finished yet.

However tomorrow I may begin on the next painting and then go back to this one later in the week.

Today I had a friend for lunch.

This time I was a bit prepared , but am still not happy with my lunch making . It’s not just money related , but more a lack of imagination. Next time pasta and pesto might be better. I have a jar in the cupboard. I could put tap water in the fridge and add mint which grows in my garden. I could make oatcakes instead of bread. I have a lot of jars of jam and chocolate spread which I was given. There must be something I can do with them for a pudding. It’s not as if I have a lot of visitors . 2 menus would be enough. Maybe I’ll make that a project for this week.

And ….. I didn’t know that pasta had a sell by date….just saying!! 🤔

After lunch we went for coffee in town and then a very long walk around Pisticci.

Now it’s time for wine and vlogs.
