2026 in Pisticci…this year’s thick painting jumper…

Having been invited to go to the market in Marconia today, I planned to go to the second hand stall and see if I could get a very thick jumper which I wouldn’t  mind getting a bit painty.

And I found one . It is extremely thick, quite long and ideal for purpose. And it cost €5.

Have yet to find my …er best side.(Being reasonably vain would like to achieve the perfect smile .) But the jumper is brilliant.

Back home I prepared 2 more long thin canvases and then decided as it was Saturday and I had a good book that there was no reason to start drawing on them yet.

All ready!

I bought some flowers at the market. I would call them pansies , but am not sure if that is correct.

Planted them so that if I sit outside I have some pretty flowers to look at.

Then I thought that I’d  draw this scene as it didn’t  look too complicated, completely  forgetting that I can’t  draw chairs. Think Ive made a reasonable job of one of them.

Am loving my new pen.

I thought that I’d  watched a whole series on Netflix until I realised that I was half way through the first episode of the second series.  I can’t  remember  what it’s  called and the hero is an idiot in my opinion. It seems to me that if the heroes in stories were sensible, not alcoholics or men who never asked for help then perhaps there would be no story.

Anyways I am curious to see what happens next despite everything  …….

Cheers 🍷🍷
