2026 in Verona….after the storm…

This morning just out of curiosity I googled ‘ storm in Verona’  last night.

Obviously was a real scary storm!

However this evening in Piazza Erbe.

All’s well.

After breakfast instead  of going out I decided to draw my next Verona scene. I tried really hard to get the proportions right. My measuring skills are not good. This drawing took about 3 hours to do.

Pencil sketch.

I don’t know if I’ll make it into a painting or just a pen sketch.

Every day I’m trying to explore somewhere new.

There are lots of groups of children doing tours.
I don’t know what this bridge is called.
An adult tour.
I liked the brickwork.
Beautiful  day
I walked to the next bridge
After crossing this one
Looking back……

I’m constantly seeing beautiful things here. Whether it’s architecture, history, windows, colours or the river. Even looking out at the reflections in the windows opposite my apartment is special.

Later on I thought I’d try to fix yesterday’s small crayons painting.

Mmm???

I’ve  been out again for a walk and a stroll round Flying Tiger.

And I bought a lighter. After last night wondering if the lights would go out I found 2 candles , but absolutely nothing with which to light them.

Tomorrow the plan is to walk to the railway station. I think it’s  about 20 minutes away.

Wine and Midsomer Murders now I think.

Cheers 🍷🍷
