After a very pleasant morning sitting outside with various cats ……..

I decided that I’d like to put some photos of my recent work on facebook on Friday.  And that would include more portraits..

As I find starting is the most difficult part I thought that maybe I could start one or two and that would get me going.

I managed five……

Tomorrow, and the rest of the week,  I can do all the fun stuff finishing them all. There is something about every one that I liked.

It’s  a little unsettling painting so much that doesn’t  sell. In Pisticci, in general, only Pisticci sells. I’m  having so much fun painting whatever I like , but If I want to sell new stuff I need to find a new market.

Out of curiosity I put my thermometer outside today for half an hour.

I’m quite comfortable in my gallery with the fan at minimum.

However I’m not going to the Lanterna tonight as it’s  no fun walking across town in this heat.

Because my eye problem returned I went up town about 6pm to the farmacia. Now I have the drops which work. After 20 years of intermittent problems in summer, it is such a treat to have something that works.

Now I need to keep awake until 9pm when the concert ( theoretically) begins. This time I plan to take a scarf to sit on.

But first it’s wine time.
