The best part of the day is in the early morning. Sitting outside with various cats and writing bits and pieces is a fine way to begin the day.

However back to last night when I went out at 9pm despite having a sore eye. The event didn’t start until nearly 10pm . It was very hot and I forgot to take my fan.

The best bit was sitting beside people I know.

Eventually a combination of sore eye, heat and tiredness led to me leaving after the first part. It was still going at 1.30am…unless that was something else.

I took my camera and discovered if I can keep it steady it’s  very good at distance views. Now that I’ve  remembered how to download photos I should use it more.

Most of today I’ve worked on two of the portraits I began yesterday.

It wasn’t  as hot today  ..but it’s  still about 33C in my living room.

There is nothing on that I know about tonight, but tomorrow  night I will be back in Piazza Lombardy  for a folk night. ( with fan and no sore eye hopefully.)

So wine time now. It’s  still too hot to water my flowers.
