Tonight I’m writing this in my gallery/ summer bedroom. The fan is on at medium and it’s quite pleasant. Still about 33C next door and outside is just as hot.

However it is summer and it could have been a lot worse.

I went shopping this morning and there was a lovely breeze. 

Most of the rest of today I’ve  been finishing the next two portraits. Only one left to do now.

I’m appreciating sitting outside writing bits and pieces in the early morning which led to me deciding to call my portraits of women, ” celebrating women”.

I like both today’s  portraits.   It was fun to make up backgrounds.

Been up town in the last hour to collect a parcel. Some tiny brushes and more individual neocolours.

Now I’d better water my flowers and maybe it will have cooled down a little in the living room by the time I’m finished.

And then it’ll be wine time.
