It’s not that I don’t know where i am going it’s just that I am exploring a few routes…..and learning a few new skills for when I decide to go somewhere. Whatever… it’s fun trying new things.
I have now sold the small watercolours which I did in fontanellato when I was staying there near the hospital. I did them with pen and watercolours because that was all I had….and I liked them …and so did a lot of other people.
So the day after I sold them all ,when my daughter offered to let me have an exhibition in her bridal shop in Perth, it was the obvious thing to do. I can easily carry lots of watercolours in my hand luggage and frame them when I arrive. The only problem was that I didn’t have so many photos of Perth so have got ex husband taking lots of photos which I then chose and adjust to suit . With my daughter helping me with publicity it’s becoming a family affair. Am loving it.
The exhibition will be in Perth in November. Time and date to be arranged.
This is what I have done so far. They are approximately A4 size and will cost £60 unframed or £80 framed. Am hoping they might make good Christmas gifts and am open to suggestions for Perth and nearby scenes that people may like. As I will be in Perth after the Christmas lights are switched on am hoping to do a couple of Perth at Christmas too.
Have a few other ideas but will save them for my next post.
So here are my selection of Perth scenes so far…..
Very nice! Makes me want to go to Perth for sure.
