I thought we were finished. The last 3 benches were almost done…..and then I heard someone had asked us to do 2 more.

I am thinking of them as ” happy benches”. I think they mostly make people smile. That’s a good thing.

It’s fun being part of a group.

My Italian is maybe not improving greatly ,but my communication is not so bad. It’s really nice to be able to communicate on a deeper level, even if it’s a bit of a mixture of words, actions and a lot of smiling.

Have been out for a glass of wine with a friend and we sat in the piazza , chatted , watched people go by, greeted friends and enjoyed the atmosphere.

Bought more wine and potatoes on the way home and now I must eat.
