That was the case today. Or at least there was nothing I had to do. Having surprisingly sorted the ID card problem ( not necessary) and the book printing ( thought it would take several days minimum) yesterday , I was at a bit of a loss.
I’m never sure in that case if I am tired because there is no need to do anything or I am actually just bored.
The nice thing about today was that I have finally found a book, a series in fact, on kindle unlimited, which is interesting, funny and not too bloodthirsty. It’s The Dublin Trilogy by Caimh McConnell.
That kept me amused until about 4pm, along with a half hearted attempt to watch some art videos.
But at 4pm I came back to life.
I have now started a new work diary with photos of my paintings and other work. I have enjoyed doing this all summer and it’s a good record of how much I’ve done over the last 3 months.
So that I could have something to put in it I sat outside and did my first digital painting in ages. It was a bit rough but very enjoyable.

Next I got an email from a graphic designer in the company printing my book saying that my cover photo needed to be higher resolution and could I send one at a higher resolution. I found that very reassuring. It feels like it’s really going to happen. And I was able to find a site online which could do that. I looked to see if there were any other images I would have preferred to use as I chose that one in a rush yesterday. But even after looking around, it was still the best one. Hopefully it will now be usable.
Now I’m sitting inside as it’s a bit chilly outside.

Cheers 🍷🍷
