Thought I was finished painting benches.

However I pretty much enjoy the challenge of painting more and more challenging things on benches.

This time as the bench is outside the post office I have been asked to paint the postman from Il Postino.

The afternoon got off to a good start as I waited to begin with a coffee .

Today we began by sanding and then undercoating the bench and then ,as the paint dries very quickly I started on the postman while the others painted gloss on the ends and some of the back.

I am pleased with my progress so far.

The figure looks more or less in proportion . Now I just need to paint the postbag and the bike. Am not very good at making circles so it will likely be rather crooked looking.

Have been in contact today with the graphic artist who is making my book look as nice as possible with what I have sent. I am now thinking that the 10 copies I have ordered ,I will personalise by adding titles to the photos ( didn’t know how to do that) Guess what all my family are getting for Christmas. I am very happy that I have got this far and assuming they arrive , then I am already wondering what I can ” publish” next.

It’s nice to be finished for the day. I did okay.
