2021 in Pisticci .Saturday and the evil printer  .

I have only been outside once today , but it was worth braving the cold .

I started today by setting up the evil printer to see if I could use thick paper to make prints..

Before that I had emailed lots of photos of paintings to my laptop from my phone as the evil.printer refuses to recognise my WIFI.

All set up doing nothing.

I found the ” easy printing app” on the laptop. (Huh!!!)

It took at least an hour until I managed to print something as I couldn’t get the paper to load. Eventually it worked when I more or less slammed it in and heard a loud click.

After that I experimented with printing different sizes of prints.

Then it was lunch time.

I went back to carry on while the going was good.

For some reason although nothing had changed, a notice appeared on my screen that there was no printer available …..and that was that. ….

Aaaaargh!!!!!

Next , due to a misunderstanding about the number of watercolours a client wanted, I set to work replace one that has been sold twice.

2 drawn in ink and one roughly sketched in pencil.

I was accompanied again by Agatha Raisin.

And now it’s dark and I’ve worked all day without hardly a break. Maybe my booster has given me a boost!

Cheers 🍷🍷

  1. My printer and I have issues, also. It regularly tells me that there is “no printer”. After multiple hours of researching and trying to talk to the company, I was told to unplug the printer for a minute and then plug it back in. Occasionally, I have had to also restart my computer. But these things have always gotten the printer to work again….the mysteries of science!! 🙂 Good luck.
Do you have a P.O. Box or address that you would share? I would love to send you a little something from the USA?
I read your blog everyday. It’s a nice part of my quarantined day!

After much research and time on the phone with the printer company, they told me to unplug the printer for a minute and then replug it in. If that doesn’t work, restart the computer. This actually fixes it every time. You may want to give it a try.

I greatly enjoy your blog. Stay well.
