2022 in Pisticci…listening to the thunder…..

Thought that I’d sit outside and get some fresh air after a ” normal day” working at home.

Virtually Scottish weather….everything at once.

There has been thunder off and on for the last few hours. I haven’t seen any lightening so far.

It’s been a nice busy day.

After writing the 32nd part of my personal ” not the war diary” I was inspired to check online for my electric bill.

It was a whole €20 less this time. I have been trying to be a little more economic and am very proud of not keeping a light on all night. But I don’t think that would have been enough to save €20. It was a very nice surprise anyways.

I passed by my latest painting which I’ve not been happy with and added some light blue where there shouldn’t be , but now I like it.

Final, final finish?

There wasn’t room for it on the wall so it was fun banging in nails and rearranging my gallery.

Second collection started

After that I drew another 6 sketches so that I have 10 more canvases ready to start work on.

I thought I’d better chose a scene that didn’t seem too difficult next.

Not too difficult?? Plenty of practice painting balconies.

I found a new Agatha Raisin audiobook. Hurray! It certainly makes the time pass nicely.

And now I’m sitting on the doorstep and still listening to the thunder….

There are lots of rosebuds ready to open and despite the weird weather summer is on it’s way. It looks like concerts and festas and life will be happening this summer in Pisticci.

Can’t wait.

Cheers 🍷🍷
