It started well with a lovely blue sky.
Quickly followed by clouds, grey skies and a cold wind.
Today was the first day I’ve felt cold.
On the plus side, I recounted my bags of pellets left over from last year. There are 28 bags….not 20 as I had previously thought.
I’d forgotten how horrible being cold is. This happens every year and I can perfectly well cope with it, but when I’ve been so warm for so long it is impossible to imagine the difference.
I’m glad I’ve planned for a “hygge” winter.
Tonight I’ve got ” hot doggio” on my knee. It takes about 3 minutes plugged in to heat up and should last for about 2 hours.

Today my big panel left the house. I’ve 2 small local scenes, with a twist, awaiting collection. Tomorrow I need to begin a portrait.
But today I completed the first one of my next series of smaller local scenes.

It’s less than 3 weeks until I should go to Scotland again. Better get busy.
The sunshine is supposed to be back tomorrow.

I suppose the winter is always a bit scary. It’s a lot easier to deal with the heat of the summer.
Anyways enough with the weather!!!
Wine time now, then Nickipositano and maybe an episode of Graham Norton to follow.
Cheers 🍷🍷
