Or at least practising packing…

My lovely Rowdy rucksack which I found at the second hand stall in Scanzano market is smaller than a Ryanair underseat bag. But I like it. 

However, it is proving a little tricky for week long holiday. It was really meant for my 2 day trips in Italy. It works okay for coming to Scotland as I have clothes here.  Luckily Katy is letting me put some clothes in her suitcase.

I think I have this imaginary vision of myself strolling through the airport with only a half full rucksack, whereas in fact it is crammed full and I have to wear a jacket with pockets to carry the excess.

My large sketchbook is not helping.

And my camera takes up some space. Luckily my new paintbrushes just fit and don’t stick out the top.

I’m looking forward to wearing holiday clothes.

Today I was only out briefly in the afternoon . I managed to find something else to buy which I absolutely  needed and will have to fit in my rucksack.

It’s been a mixture of weather today, hot ,cold, sunny, rainy and windy.

Out in the garden there is a fence……

Wine time now.
