This morning I went off to the Meetmarket  to buy a computer fan, some boxes to use as wet palettes , a computer adapter thingy and a plastic extendable curtain rail.

I thought my laptop might be feeling the heat.

I had a plan for the curtain rail but it didn’t work.

Back home I was going to start my next painting, but decided to paint part of the chest of drawers instead.

Having done that I went to start the painting , then thought that the fake dresser would be better with some black.

Am very pleased with the results.

Eventually about 13.30 I started the painting  . It looked like this by 4pm.

Then it rained. Not a lot!

Fluffy came in to join me. I’ve run out of catfood. Today I offered her tuna, but she wasn’t interested. Finally, feeling guilty, I opened a tin of beef and beans. She liked that.

Tomorrow I should be going to Scanzano market and the penny market supermarket. 

Because I get a lift to my door I’ll be buying heavy and bulky things including catfood. 

I was thinking today about the reasons I don’t normally buy melons( too heavy) and why I’m buying tins of chickpeas instead of cooking them from raw.( too hot to cook)

But I did buy a melon today from the fruit seller in the piazza as I didn’t have to carry it up the hill.

It’s been  quite a satisfactory day.
