I was a bit worried about the latest commission  getting done on time so I got up at 5am.

By 7pm I was well started.  It’s 100×50 cms and includes a lot of little white houses, a Saint, cacti and climbing flowers. I said I’d have it done by Monday…..before  I knew the art competition  was back on .

However there is something exhilarating about going fast.

So it’s all drawn. The Saint is finished. The roofs have a first layer and I’ve painted over several cacti as there were too many…..not because houses are easier to paint  ….oh not at all.!!

Because I was expecting a visitor today I tidied up and even got the furniture polish out so I’m enjoying a nice clean house tonight.

Wine time now…..and more of the same tomorrow.
