I decided to get the latest portrait finished and then finish off all the jobs I meant to do last week.

Probably I should carry on with this series. ( I’ve used black gesso and covered another 6 round canvases.)

I’d like to see if I could get better at modelling and taking photos …..and painting hands…and faces. I’ve been watching a lot of Portrait painting videos on YouTube. What everyone on them seems to have is confidence. I still wonder what I’m doing every time and I’m almost surprised when they mostly turn out well.

I took the last three paintings down off the wall and painted the edges .

Then friends arrived to collect a painting and are probably coming back to collect several more tomorrow. It’s a great treat for me when people like the paintings I think are special.

I’ll need to paint some more colourful paintings.  These were experiments which I loved , but I didn’t know if anyone else would. 

However I thought that I’d try painting several small versions of them for the Christmas  event.

I’m still waiting for a scarf I bought on the internet to arrive ……maybe it will inspire another flower painting.

It’s pizza night again and I have some errands to do in town on the way there.

It’ll be nice to get out for a walk.
