I think it’s about 34C in Pisticci. Hope my plants survive.

As it’s  my grandson’s birthday soon we had a special meal tonight. The whole family was there which was nice.

And, it being world Cup season we got to decorate gingerbread football shirts.

I’ve been reading a lot of tributes to David Hockney  and found a really inspiring one. I was needing a bit of a cheer up. Looking forward to hopefully being back in Italy soon. Got lots of plans.

However after getting some more photos from Aaron I sketched another woodland scene. Even included three quarters of the dog. I might learn a technique to using these crayons if I keep going. They are no good for detail, but when I layer them they look interesting.

It’s quite nice just chilling here. Have no arrangements till next week. And the weather is supposed to be nice at the weekend.
