It started last night when the piece of metal I was to paint arrived at my door.

This morning I spent a lot of time on my phone ordering primer, paint and varnish for the giant ” thing” . It looks like it might have been a shop fitting.

Then I ordered paper for another commission to paint a larger version of a painting with a red umbrella.

This little cat seems to have become a friend. It lets me stroke it.

Then I brought my work diary up to date. The last entry was in April.

After lunch I fixed the net curtain and then finished two small paintings.

When it got to 5pm I made myself go out for a short walk.

Now I’m sitting at my round table near the open door with jazz playing in the background. Nice!

So, getting organised is progressing .
