2026 in Pisticci…mostly framing….

Today started well, with a little bit of sunshine in my gallery.

It’s  always very cheering.

Then I had a coffee made in my new coffee pot.

First coffee in a while.

The rest of today I’ve been attempting to fix frames with mixed sucess.

Fixed the scrapes on this one, then decided that it would be better to take a lighter one to the exhibition. So now it is temporarily making this painting look good.
And this frame will do as well, and be much easier to carry.

I tried to fix the very distressed one for the smallest portrait…..but am not happy with it. Luckily I can just repaint it.

Not sure. ( possibly liked it better before I started .)

Then I fixed one of the portraits by making the blouse darker at the bottom.

I am quite liking this now.

Then I framed the other portrait for the exhibition.

And remembered to sign it.

Tomorrow  I think I’ll  be upstairs painting on a wall, but plan to have the framing all done by Saturday evening.

I haven’t  done any framing for a long time, but I think it makes my paintings look better.

Wine time now. Probably  staying home again.
