Have now completed 30 paintings of perth scenes which was the number I had in mind to do so any more now are bonuses. If anyone has any suggestions am open to ideas……

Thinking of doing one of a river scene near Comrie next as every now and then I like a break from straight lines and windows. And I think it’s kind of amazing when I attempt to paint water and it looks like water.

one of the great things about painting for me is when I make something out of lines and colours and I see the thing and not just the lines and little dabs of paint. It’s particularly great when painting a portrait and from a blank canvas a person appears. It feels like magic.
