Oh dear! I am hardly ever in art shops. This was full of art treasure. When the lady who was serving said that CARANdACHE make the best paints in the world I was hooked. After having ” scunnered” myself over the last two days drawing so much detail I thought that maybe some bigger paper to paint on would help. So I found some rather expensive ( to me) watercolour paper and then sort of meandered over to the boxes and boxes of CARANdACHE crayons etc. I left with a box of watercolour pencils. And said I’d be back at the end of the month if I had any money left.
I’m trying to keep in mind both, that I can’t just buy everything I like….. and on the other hand I may never do this again and I shouldn’t be mean.

I’m drinking the cheapest wine I’ve bought so far, almost Pisticci price, so that will help subsidise my art supplies habit.( It’s perfectly okay and it had a pretty label.)
This morning, after coffee in my bar, I wandered off to find another bridge. And I found seats. Hurray!!
Now I can go somewhere pretty and hang out without having to pay for a coffee.

I wandered on eventually and found the stone bridge. Which I’ve painted.

It was lovely strolling along beside the river. There were lots of seats. More possible painting places.

On the way home from the art shop I came along via Mazzini which has the most expensive shops and is always busy and then when I arrived in Piazza Erbe the guy with the electric violin was playing. It was like being in a film with music.
I’ve booked a train home at the end of the month. It will take me all day, but even if I’d paid for another bag on a flight there wasn’t one that suited .
It’s been a lovely day.
Wine time now.
Cheers🍷🍷
