Today I have mostly painted. My big car commission with the tricky tyres probably needs two more days and a small portrait with a cat should be finished tomorrow.

I think the tyres look relatively convincing.

I found a painting by Klimt of flowers and liked it so much that I used it as reference for the wildflowers in the background. Tomorrow I need to finish all the details in the windows and the roof.

It was good to sit outside this morning with a coffee which was when I noticed my newly painted chairs matched the sky.

This is the 4th day being in a red zone.

It has been a strange week.

I am thinking of making a list of things I can do which don’t cost anything. It seems important to have things to look forward to.

In the meantime I have good ,but cheap wine. Cheers 🍷🍷
